As a packaging producer, we have already been awarded the DIN EN ISO 140001 and 50001 certifications for our resource-saving environmental and energy management systems, and were additionally awarded the certification for "guaranteed sustainability" in spring 2020 by the Deutsches Institut für Nachhaltigkeit und Ökonomie. The certification audit was performed in the areas of ecology, economy and social competence, and attests that our business development is proceeding in a sustainable, future-oriented manner.
"We wanted to know our position by undergoing an internationally acknowledged audit with strict requirements," explained Dr. Theo Doll, Managing Director of Söhner Kunststofftechnik, who was satisfied with the results. We consider this result an important building block for our further development in the coming years and are planning on having the audit performed at regular intervals.
