At the beginning of 2019, Söhner Kunststofftechnik GmbH opened a new sales branch in Stansted, UK. Under James Mead’s leadership, we are now offering local consultation and support to our UK customers.
Despite the uncertainties around the UK’s upcoming exit from the European Union, Söhner Kunststofftechnik is strengthening its sales activities in the UK. With its new sales branch in Stansted, we plan to offer our existing and potential customers better consultation and support.
Local support and quick delivery times
For the management of the new sales branch, we found an experienced manager in James Mead, formerly of Sealed Air Corporation and Ampac Packaging. “The UK market has great importance for us. James Mead knows the packaging industry, the market and the companies well,” explains Dr. Theo Doll, Managing Partner of Söhner Kunststofftechnik GmbH, their choice. To meet the increasing demand for quick delivery times, we plan to build our own inventory in the UK in the long term. “This way, our customers will benefit from quick and efficient order and delivery processing with the same high quality,” says James Mead.
New sales representatives in France
As part of its expansion, we have also increased our sales activities in France. As the new sales representative, Patrick Le Solleu is now responsible for the French-speaking market. “With his knowledge and professional experience in technical sales, Patrick Le Solleu is an ideal addition to our team,” emphasizes Dr. Theo Doll. “I am very pleased that he will be actively supporting our company, which will allow us to optimally support our French customers,” adds Dr. Doll.
Additional partnerships in Italy and Scandinavia
In addition to the newly established structures in the UK and France, we have also entered into collaborations with Antalis Packaging Italia s.r.l. in Italy and Wellplast AB from Sweden to sell the “MegaPack” large load carrier series. Now our customers in Italy and Scandinavia can locally receive information about the foldable large load carriers and directly consult with specialists.
