Reporting office at Söhner Kunststofftechnik
The German Whistleblower Protection Act (Hinweisgeberschutzgesetz / HinSchG) was introduced to identify possible risks for the company, its employees, suppliers, business partners or the general public, to quickly detect violations and to eliminate proven misconducts.
We at Söhner Kunststofftechnik have therefore set up a reporting office for internal and external parties. The office enables the reporting of justified information about suspected legal violations or rule violations in accordance with the German Whistleblower Protection Act. Those who report do not have to worry about possible retaliation, as every report will be treated confidentially.
Serious suspected cases with a high risk of violating applicable law (e.g. criminal offenses) or internal guidelines can be reported.
For example:
Employees, temporary workers, suppliers, business partners or external stakeholders can submit reports via the following email address: hinweise(at)soehner.de
The mailbox is managed only by the Whistleblower Protection Officers with the highest confidentiality.
In order to properly process and investigate a report, it is important to describe the circumstances as detailed as possible. The following five questions should be considered: Who? What? When? How? Where? Furthermore, information should be submitted in German or English so that the reporting process can be completed quickly.
A confirmation will be sent immediately after a report has been received (within 7 days). The Whistleblower Protection Officers will carefully and discreetly review and process the reported case (this can take up to 3 months). Afterwards, the whistleblower will receive feedback on the current status and will be informed about any follow-up measures that are taken into consideration.
