Söhner Kunststofftechnik will have its own booth for the first time at the world's leading trade fair for foundry technology. In hall 15, booth H01, the company will present proven packaging systems and innovative transport solutions for improving productivity, profitability and environmental sustainability throughout the foundry industry's entire logistics supply chain.
Two newly developed storage units will be presented as trade fair highlights: a stanchion rack with intermediate layers for crankshafts as well as a pallet and container combination for several additional cores. The packaging specialist will also exhibit a full-plastic solution for large loads in the form of its large load carrier series MegaPack JUMBO. The robust large load carriers offer a useful load of up to 750 kg and are best suited for transporting heavy cast parts.
Foundries and foundry suppliers can also stop by the booth to learn more about the latest packaging developments for sand cores. Such developments particularly require the utmost precision and dimensional stability combined with sufficient stabilization and dampening to prevent deformation of the often delicate and highly detailed cores. This specifically applies to green cores which have not yet hardened.
