Söhner is looking forward to the 2022 trade fair year

At the end of May, Hispack in Barcelona will kick off the 2022 trade fair year for Söhner Kunststofftechnik. The packaging manufacturer will be represented at a total of five events this year and will present its latest solutions to a national and international audience. The events include LogiMAT in Stuttgart and FachPack in Nuremberg. The company will also be participating once again in the Battery Show Europe, the leading trade fair for battery and H/EV technology.

Söhner Trade fair participations 2022

Five events in six months
“The pandemic meant that many trade fairs were postponed to the summer months and are now taking place quite close together. We are looking forward to every single event and having personal contact with visitors," explains Dr Theo Doll, managing partner of Söhner Kunststofftechnik. Things will get underway for the transport packaging manufacturer from May 24 to 28 at Hispack in Barcelona. LogiMAT will follow a week later, from May 31 to June 2, and the Battery Show Europe in Stuttgart takes place June 28-30. In the fall, the company will also take part in FachPack, September 27-29 in Nuremberg, and Empack, October 26-27 in Madrid.

Innovative packaging solutions for every requirement
At all five trade fairs, Söhner will present new transport packaging as well as its tried-and-tested packaging systems for secure, sustainable and smart transport of components. These include the foldable large load carriers from the MegaPack series, ESD packaging and hazardous goods packaging as well as individual solutions in the form of thermoformed workpiece carriers and containers. Visitors can also look forward to special trade fair highlights relating to each event’s respective focus and to the presentation of a new 3D printing service.

Quick off the mark thanks to 3D printing
At the upcoming trade fairs in Germany and Spain, the company will present a new additional service for its customers: 3D printing. In future Söhner will offer production of components, packaging samples and partial sections using the FDM process (Fused Deposition Modeling). The aim is to reduce development times in project business and provide efficient small series production. 3D printing rounds off the company’s existing production methods with plastic thermoforming and twin-wall sheet processing.
